Update From Our President

As we begin to slowly see signs of the upcoming autumn, the board and I are gearing up for our Hall of Fame Speaker Series this fall. We are featuring three Hall of Fame speakers, Sept 7, Oct 5, and Nov 16.

September 7
We start with Mark LeBlanc's “When YOU are the business.” I promise you don’t want to miss his presentation. Mark is a legend in NSA and will talk to us about the business aspect of speaking, coaching, and training. Register at NSAPittsburgh.org.

October 5
The one and only Patricia Fripp will be on stage for two sessions. Not only is Patricia another legend in NSA but has been a keynote speaker on stage at the national Toastmaster Conventions. She is offering to work with audience participants on spicing up the first 30 seconds of their presentations. This is going to be fun to see Patricia in action with the audience.

The cost for all NON NSA Pittsburgh members is $79 for this event. It is free for all NSAP members, but we encourage you to register right away to hold your seat.

NSA Pittsburgh members-if you are an author and would like to sell your books at this event please notify Charlie Krebs by September 23 so we can set up the appropriate number of tables.

All NSA Pittsburgh members MUST register in advance for this event as there is limited seating of 100. Register here.

This is also a new member recruiting event so there will be a special offer for new members if they join that day!

November 16
Ross Bernstein is an international superstar speaker. He emailed me from Sydney, Australia as he was beginning his Australian speaking tour. If you want to speak more often he is going to tell us about “How I Consistently Book 100+ keynotes a year.” Register here

Make reservations for ALL 3 EVENTS well ahead of time as we are expecting sell out crowds. Also, do you know someone who should be a speaker or has written a book and doesn’t know how to sell it? All three of our meetings will set them up on the path to launching that speaking career so bring a guest. For first time guests the cost is $29, and $79 for returning guests with the exception of our October 5th event. The charge for this event if you are not an NSA Pittsburgh member is $79.

Also, our very own Charlie Krebs is offering a series of three pop-up events. If you want to improve your speaking, your presentations, and your stage presence, Charlie has 22 years of experience teaching public speaking, working with CEO’s, and training speakers to become successful. Register at NSAPittsburgh.org.

Thanks and I hope you had a great Labor Day weekend.
