NSA Pittsburgh is growing, and we need a space where we all can fit… CoHatch is getting cramped. The Koppers Building has offered us their much larger conference room for half of what we pay to meet in Homestead. Our next meeting on September 13 will be in the Koppers Building, and the chapter board strongly supports holding ALL our chapter meetings there this year.
Moving to Koppers will save the chapter nearly $2000 a year in facility rental fees while giving us lots of room to grow, plus an excellent perk of rooftop access. The spectacular 29th floor balcony at Koppers is the starting point for all of chapter president Mark Houser’s “Antique Skyscraper Rooftop Views” tours. More than 2,000 people have gone up on it with him to take in the panoramic vistas. It’s a terrific spot for social media selfies for our chapter members and visiting speakers, and should help us to attract interest and new members.
