Views From Our New Home

Last month the chapter celebrated our successful move to the new location in the Koppers Building at 436 Seventh Ave. with a visit to the balcony. Watch a video here of our celebration and see the new space. If you missed out, don’t worry. Member Spotlight: Charlie Batch

Longtime chapter member and former Steelers QB Charlie Batch took to the stage this summer in San Diego at the huge annual convention of the Society for Human Resource Management, SHRM25. More than 20,000 people attended the convention, where Charlie spoke on resilience—turning pain into purpose—and worked with Velvet Suite and the SHRM Foundation to launch The Resilience Suite, a space for leaders to put the weight down and breathe. He shared some of his insights during last month’s Speaker Seminar in a new monthly spotlight on our NSA Pittsburgh members.

It Is What You Make It

Last month, Grove City College alum Steve Gilliland shared hilarious, high-energy, and sometimes heartwarming insights from his successful speaking career and recent book, “It Is What You Make It.” If you missed it, NSA Pittsburgh members can always catch up on any Speaker Seminar they missed—or want to watch again—in our Digital Vault.
